Welcome to Huddle and Craft!
About me:
Just realised that my living room colour matches my website colour well!
I am 26, recently diagnosed autistic and possibly ADHD. Also mum to two young boys. I have Oliver (2) and Rowan (11 months).
I created this business out of my own need for relaxation and creative expression. As someone who has struggled with mental health particularly postpartum, I find crafting essential for unwinding.
I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent people as there are so many of us that mask our way through the day. Also who are often undiagnosed and don't get the support that we need. I have a non-verbal autistic sister. Despite this, I only got diagnosed autistic Summer 2025. But because of my masking and being very "shy" throughout school, my needs were not met.
I would like my sessions to be supportive for our needs and be a safe inclusive space.
For the parents attending my hope is to provide a space where you, as a parent, can carve out time to relax and craft, while your children play and explore. There is not much time to do that and there are so many distractions at home.

Use of language:
At Huddle & Craft, we use identity-first language as our default — "autistic people", "neurodivergent people", "ADHDers" — because this reflects how many in our community choose to identify. We follow the lead of each person we work with and adjust if someone expresses a different preference for themselves.
We don't use functioning labels, deficit-based framing, or language that positions neurodivergence as something to be fixed. We believe autistic and neurodivergent people are whole, capable, and creative — and our sessions are built around that.
If we ever get our language wrong, please tell us. We're always learning, and we'd rather be corrected than cause harm.
